A P4 Pupil from Pennyburn Primary School, Kilwinning, has been selected as the winner of Cunninghame South MSP, Ruth Maguire’s Christmas Card competition.
The winning design made by Paige Taylor was chosen out of dozens of entries sent to the MSP’s office from school pupils throughout the area and will feature in Ms Maguire’s Christmas message to constituents and colleagues.
In addition to being chosen as the MSP’s Christmas card, Paige was presented with a £20 gift voucher.
The SNP MSP said: “I was very impressed with the many amazing entries from across the local primary schools with each one creative and imaginative in its own way.
“Paige’s submission really captured the essence of Christmas, and it stood out from all the rest in making myself and my team smile.
“Well done again to Paige for your terrific card and thank you to everybody else who entered the competition.”
