I am delighted to welcome the Scottish Governments announcement yesterday that it will move to legalise equal marriage. I agree wholeheartedly that in a progressive, fair society such as Scotland this is the right thing and yesterday felt very proud to be an SNP member as Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon delivered the good news. Well done to all those who campaigned hard – great work!
