North Ayrshire Council has launched a small grants scheme for owners, landlords or tenants of flats, houses and commercial properties which aims to preserve and enhance the town’s character by supporting repairs and reinstatement of traditional features. The scheme will provide between 70% and 90% of the costs of projects to the exterior of buildings.
The grant scheme is part of a wider Conservation Area Regeneration scheme (CARS) in Irvine which has already made a positive impact having provided funds for the restoration of the A-Listed Trinity Church.
