Spent a great afternoon in Castlepark Primary School and Early Years Centre today attending the Official opening.
Both the refurbished and brand new sections of the building look great and the staff and pupils are rightly proud of their new school.
There was a really nice atmosphere throughout the school and the boys who gave myself and Cllrs Gibson and Gurney a guided tour were wonderfully confident and relaxed and keen to show off the school. When I asked what their favourite thing about the new school was they said “All of it, we just love all of it”.
Every section of the school performed and we were treated to some great songs and tunes and speeches. A great celebration!
