At my surgery in Fullarton this month I was asked to arrange traffic calming measures and 20s plenty signs in Lamont Drive and Rubie Crescent. The resident who raised the issue with me told me that they were concerned by the speed of traffic in and out of the street and the potential harm that could come to children out playing.
Before the council will take action it’s important to check the views of all residents on the matter. Today, I delivered a letter and form to every household in the area, asking whether or not they agree to the measures.
I would encourage everyone to make their voices heard, the forms can be handed into reception at Cunninghame House or copied and emailed to myself.
