That the Parliament notes the civic reception staged to celebrate the Children’s Panel in Ayrshire, whose members have given an incredible 390 years of service to the children’s hearing system; recognises that several have been part of the children’s hearing system for decades, including Jessie Gavin, Susan McMenemy, Angela Rowe and David Stalker; considers that panel members make important decisions that affect the lives of vulnerable children and young people in need of protection; acknowledges the tact, care and sensitivity required to deal effectively with what can be heartbreaking and stressful topics, and thanks everyone involved for their long and valued service.
