That the Parliament acknowledges the Funky Films event held at Irvine’s Harbour Arts Centre; understands that it presented the stories of people recovering from drug and alcohol issues through a short film format; welcomes the opportunity afforded by this project to highlight people’s stories of recovery; hopes that these experiences can be used to help others in similar circumstances, and thanks everyone involved for their courage in sharing their personal experiences.
