On Wednesday 2nd November, students of Hospitality and Tourism from Ayrshire College took on responsibility for managing the Members’ Restaurant in the Scottish Parliament.
Local MSP Ruth Maguire was amongst the MSPs and other guests who had the pleasure of sampling the results, before meeting with the students and staff from the college.
Commenting, Ruth said:
‘The students from Ayrshire College can take great pride in their success, as they served a very impressive meal to MSPs and other guests, with smooth and professional service’
I was very proud that MSPs from across the country were able to experience the talent of our Ayrshire students.
This was a great opportunity for the students to gain real hands-on experience of the catering world, and I wish them all the very best in their future studies.’
