This week, Ruth:
- Held MSP advice surgeries in Kilwinning and Dreghorn
- In Education Committee, considered in private the Committee’s draft report on Personal and Social Education and agreed to consider an amended draft report at its next meeting. The Committee also considered its draft report on Additional Support Needs and agreed the report subject to further changes being made
- Welcomed North Ayrshire’s ‘Funky Films’ group to the Scottish Parliament – a hugely successful collaboration between the North Ayrshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership and Recovery at Work. At the event, MSPs from across Scotland were able to view two of the award-winning films created by Funky Films, before having the opportunity to speak to members of Funky Films themselves
