• Held MSP advice surgeries in Bourtreehill and Kilwinning

 

• Caught up with the local member of the Scottish Youth Parliament

 

• Given a talk to the 7^th Irvine Boys Brigade on ‘What an MSP does”

 

• Signed a letter supporting Catalonia’s Right to Choose and urging the EU to uphold democracy

 

• Welcomed new details about Scotland’s social security agency, including abolition of the bedroom tax and guaranteed face-to-face support from agency staff, not private companies 

 

• Re-affirmed her support for the Time for Inclusive Education campaign

 

• Joined animal welfare charities to support tougher sentences for those who abuse animals 

 

• Signed a copy of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons at the ‘Citizens’ Signing Ceremony’ organised by Scottish CND 

 

• Joined Kurdish campaigners raising funds for the Kobane Scotland School in Syria, where the city is being reconstructed after destruction at the hands of Daesh

 

• Contributed to a cross-party roundtable discussion about pet licensing in Scotland

 

• Spent the afternoon with young people and tutors at Centre Stage, Leadership Connects
