- Held MSP Advice Surgeries at the Beattie Library in Stevenston and at the Fullarton Community Centre in Irvine
- Attended the Remembrance Sunday parade and service in Kilwinning and laid a wreath on behalf of constituents in Cunninghame South
- Used a topical question in the Chamber to highlight the findings of a new Child Poverty Action Group report and condemn the UK Tory Government’s colossal failure of public policy
- Contributed to the Stage 3 debate on the hugely significant Child Poverty (Scotland) Bill, which will introduce statutory targets for reducing child poverty
- In Education Committee, taken further evidence from the Cabinet Secretary for Education, John Swinney, on the Children and Young People (Information Sharing) (Scotland) Bill
- Questioned the (all-male) Scottish Parliament Corporate Body about the importance of representation when it comes to tackling the wider issue of women’s inequality
- At General Questions, asked the Scottish Government what it is doing to mark the Scottish Witch Trials during the year of History, Heritage and Archaeology 2017
- In Social Security Committee, took evidence on subordinate legislation relating to Council Tax Reduction Regulations
