- Held MSP advice surgeries at Bourtreehill Library in Irvine and Kilwinning Library in Kilwinning
- During General Questions, asked the Scottish Government about how it can help seized illegally trafficked puppies, who are kept in kennels for long periods of time until their court case is finished – causing great stress to the puppies and at great cost to charity
- Wrote to Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yıldırım, and Turkish Justice Minister, Abdülhamit Gül, urging the immediate and unconditional release of the Kurdish artist and journalist, Zehra Doğan
- Spoke in a Holyrood debate marking The Day of the Imprisoned Writer and highlighted the plight of imprisoned Kurdish artist and writer, Zehra Doğan
- In Education Committee, reviewed the responses received in respect of the Committee’s Teacher Workforce Planning for Scotland’s Schools and considered its Children and Young People (Information Sharing) (Scotland) Bill
- In Social Security Committee, considered the Committee’s Draft Stage 1 Report on the Social Security (Scotland) Act
