• Amended the Social Security (Scotland) Bill to enshrine in it the principle of inclusive communication

 

• Held MSP advice surgeries in Kilwinning and Dreghorn

 

• Led focus groups of secondary school students on behalf of Holyrood’s Education Committee

 

• Supported Hijab Awareness Day 2018, supporting a woman’s right to express her religious freedom

 

• Voted for groundbreaking Domestic Abuse legislation to criminalise coercive and psychological abuse

 

• Welcomed the SNP’s bold and progressive budget

 

• Voted for the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Bill – setting an objective for public boards that 50% of non-executive members are women by the end of 2022
