Ruth visited Recovery Enterprises café at their Ayrshire session this followed on from her contribution to a debate on the national emergency of drug deaths in Scotland.
As Convenor of the Equalities and Human Rights committee Ruth launched a new enquiry into race inequality in Scotland. Those wishing to contribute evidence can do so here.
Ruth also discussed the inquiry on BBC Radio Scotland’s Good Morning Scotland programme with Professor Nasar Meer, Professor of Race, Identity and Citizenship at the University of Edinburgh. The interview can be heard below.
