A P7 pupil from Whitehurst Park Primary School, Kilwinning has been selected as the winner of Cunninghame South MSP, Ruth Maguire’s Christmas Card competition.
The winning design made by Max was chosen out of dozens of entries from across the local primary schools sent into the MSP’s office from school pupils throughout the area and will feature on Ms Maguire’s message to constituents and colleagues.
In addition to being chosen as the MSPs Christmas card, Max was also sent a book token and a party pack for his class as a prize for his winning entry.
The SNP MSP said “I was very impressed with the many amazing entries from across the local primary schools and thank everyone who entered. All the designs were beautiful but the bright, cheerful colours and message of kindness on Max’s stood out the most and made myself and my staff team smile.
“Many thanks to Merck in Irvine for sponsoring the competition and providing the very generous party packs and really well done again to Max for your terrific card.”
