In Holyrood, spoke with Staf (Scottish Throughcare and Aftercare Forum) at their information stall, to hear about their work care leavers and the importance of relationships, rights and their role in Keeping The Promise.

On Wednesday Ruth attended an informal session of the Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee and in the evening attended the Cross Party Group on Commercial Sexual Exploitation.

Covid Statement – vaccine effectiveness

During the Covid-19 Statement, Ruth asked the First Minister about vaccine effectiveness studies.

Technology-assisted Human Trafficking

During Justice and Veterans Portfolio Question Time, Ruth asked a supplementary question, asking the Scottish Government when action will be taken to make it a criminal offence to enable or profit from the prostitution of another person.

Fair Trade Pledge

Ruth contributed remotely to Clare Adamson’s Member Business debate on the Fairtrade Pledge.
